Polynt Group is an Italian-headquartered global specialty chemicals producer based in Scanzorosciate (Bergamo). Founded in 1955, it manufactures chemical intermediates — maleic, phthalic and trimellitic anhydrides and their derivatives, plasticizers, fumaric and malic acids — as well as unsaturated polyester resins, coating resins, gel-coats, thermoset compounds and composites. In 2017 Polynt merged with US resin producer Reichhold to form Polynt-Reichhold, a group with revenues above €2 billion and manufacturing sites across Europe, the Americas and Asia.
